I created this card this morning, I love the reds and pinks together for this Sassy Cheryl's precolored image. Added glittered hearts and ribbon. Made with supplies from Stampin Up and Martha Stewart. Sassy Cheryl creates such fun images to create cards with.
Now I have to get ready to go to our Stampin Up Workshop today, I wonder what will be in store for us when we get there. Sally always has so many creative ideas.

Be My Valentine
I created this 5" x 5" Valentine card for the challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's. The theme this week is all about the color blue. My card is not totally blue but it has blue on it, so I think it will qualify for the challenge. I used Sassy Cheryl's precolored image Delivery With A Kiss for this challenge. (I feel like I cheat using the precolored images, but they are just so adorable and I love the colors). The inside sentiment is computer generated.
I used SU tag punch, ribbon, and cardstock, the decorative papers are from my stash. Scalloped square is a Nestabilities, ya just gotta love those Nestabilities. One can never have enough of them.

A Beary Special Valentine!
It's been quite a busy time over the Christmas and New Year's holiday and hopefully now I can get back to making cards. I've made this Valentine card to enter in Sassy Cheryl's Challenge 43. The theme for this challenge is "Teddy Bears" and it is her last challenge of 2010. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get my entry in. Taking a break from cardmaking, it is not quite so easy to get back into.
I created this 4.5" x 6" card with MS papers and border punch. It was such fun making layered flowers with some of my new dies and punches and added ribbon to the card. I used Sassy Cheryl's precolored Beary Valentine image and added SU Crystal Effects to the hearts for a glossy look. I can't believe that I made a card without glitter, now how did I ever let that happen. I decorated the inside and added a sentiment for a finished look.

What Just Happened Out There!
Two posts in one day, wow! Pictures of the hounds modeling their Christmas attire and from this morning when they were ready to go out in the snow. Poor hounds, they were not happy. The snow was so deep at 6:30 am, they wouldn't even go off the deck. Mommy forgot to tuck their snoods inside their Toastie Coats and the wind was so fierce their snoods were almost blown inside out. They have the look of "What just happened out there", when they came back in. Enjoy!
Paper Ornaments
With all the hussle and bussle of Christmas, it's been a while since I have had a chance to post anything to my blog.
I made a couple of paper ornaments using stamps from Holly Berry House. These were made in several layers and lots and lots of glitter.
Christmas Eve I decided to make an ornament using one of my Nestabilities that I didn't have a chance to play with yet and the Play It Again Sam precolored image from Sassy Cheryl's fit the ornament perfectly. For that ornament I used some real shiny gold metallic paper, probably has a name for that paper just at this moment I don't know what it is. I did have to cut out the space to place the image with an Xacto knife. Now that is scary, me and sharp objects, not a good mix!
The pictures may not be the greatest but the ornaments look so much nicer in real life and they looked adorable on my tree.
