A Beary Special Valentine!

It's been quite a busy time over the Christmas and New Year's holiday and hopefully now I can get back to making cards.  I've made this Valentine card to enter in Sassy Cheryl's Challenge 43.  The theme for this challenge is "Teddy Bears" and it is her last challenge of 2010.  Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get my entry in.  Taking a break from cardmaking, it is not quite so easy to get back into.

I created this 4.5" x 6" card with MS papers and border punch.  It was such fun making layered flowers with some of my new dies and punches and added ribbon to the card. I used Sassy Cheryl's precolored Beary Valentine image and added SU Crystal Effects to the hearts for a glossy look.  I can't believe that I made a card without glitter, now how did I ever let that happen.  I decorated the inside and added a sentiment for a finished look.

    This little knot kneed bear is perfect for Valentines. Love those layered flowers you made. The inside of the card is beautiful. I think we tend to ignore the insides of our creations. I love the way you carried your theme over to the inside.
